I'm going to bring up the next speaker. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:29 PM): He's going to come and crush you. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:29 PM): I mean, you even saw Smanbar. I said, come on, I know who you are. You do great work. Gave the compliment. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:29 PM): Players know this guy. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:29 PM): Anthony from BT Gen, he's in the back, me and Dan Martell are doing this game of AI. I'm like, what are you doing putting me here? Like just ask him the question. I don't need to be in the AI conversation. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:29 PM): Dan knows this stuff much better than I've learned. That's why we brought him here to talk to you guys. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:29 PM): But afterwards, Paul and Tom are going to come up to discuss the next thing, which is a little bit deep on the calibration side. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): And before we do that, this guy here, Dan, I've had a chance to spend some time with him. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): I saw a video the other day he did and I gave the comment. His wife back as well. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): And uh there's a question his wife asks him that went viral. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): She asked, she says, babe, out of all the investments you've made, what's the best investment you've ever made? What's the best investment you've ever made? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): And he says, you. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): And he says, really? She says, nothing's more than you, babe. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): And you just see the beautiful couple, emotional moment between the two of them. You fall in love with these human beings. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): He's visited our office. We've worked with them for the last 12 months almost when he comes to our office. I've met his father, Me's family, Me's crew. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): Amazing, amazing people. The guys made money, had exits. He is brilliant, takes care of his body, good husband, takes care of his family. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:30 PM): And is an influence, sir, and we asked him to come and share some of his knowledge with you, and before I bring them up, because we're going to play the intro, I just want to mention I said these words about Dan before playing the intro, because once we do the voice of God, it's going to bring up Dan to the stage. So with that being said, please turn your attentions to the screen. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): The AI revolution is here. You can literally do it. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): I'm not special, I just made a decision. Make the decision. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): If everybody thinks it's work and it feels like play, that's your dream one. It's possible. Build your dream one. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): Winning with AI in 2026 is actually pretty easy. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): I built and scaled several companies past a million dollars in under six months, and the most important thing to understand is that I'm doing this stuff at such a time. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): Most people don't realize how much time they're wasting by doing things they shouldn't be doing. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): Most people think I got to add something, I got to do something new, I got to figure out what's the next thing. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:31 PM): How about just making a list of stop doing? That is the cheapest way to buy back your time. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): I'm just an example of everyday waking up trying to not repeat mistakes and be a little bit better. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to stage Steven Bartlett. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): You guys are incredible. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): Look, sometimes I do cool shit. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): Sometimes it doesn't work out. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): But I'm here. Okay, my hand is broken, so if you see me later, we're going fist pumps, left-handed, handshakes or hugs. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): Don't go for the right hand, I will go down on my knees. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): Uh, I've got a really fun opportunity today to teach you three things. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:32 PM): I'm going to teach you the value of your time because it's worth way more than you realize. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): Two, I'm going to teach you how to lead people in a way that doesn't take more time. That's fun. Do you guys like to learn how to do that? Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): All right, say yes from those in two twilight here. Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): And three, my favorite topic, I'm going to teach you how to use AI to do it with less time, less resources, less money, less people. Does that sound fun? Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): Cool. Show of hands. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): How many of you were a little rable rousers as teenagers? Anybody else getting trouble with the law? I'm the only one, high-speed chase? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): There's my people. Let's go. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): I ended up in juvenile detention not once, but twice, by the time I was 17. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:33 PM): And then I got sent to a rehab center where I spent 11 months, not only really learning how to deal with my feelings, understanding the stories that I was telling myself, - Unknown (9/2/26 5:34 PM): in many ways rebuilding my confidence that I didn't have. I mean, there were points in my life when I didn't even feel like I deserved to breathe the air I was taking out. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:34 PM): And what changed was after doing this therapy and rebuilding the trust with my family, my friends, - Unknown (9/2/26 5:34 PM): I was actually helping the menace guy, his name was Rick, uh clean out some of the cabins because it was built in an old church camp. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:34 PM): And in one of the rooms, I open up the door and there's this old table, no different than the ones you guys are sitting at, and a 486 computer sitting there, an old computer, and a yellow book on Java programming. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:34 PM): Now, as a 17 year old, I'd never played with a computer. This is 1996. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:34 PM): And I sit down and I open up this yellow book on Java programming and I thought it was going to read like ones and zeros or hieroglyphics. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:34 PM): Essentially, it read like English. If this then that, you've ever seen JavaScript, it is English. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): And I open up the book, laid it down, booted up the computer, followed chapter one, tap tap, tap tap, tap tap, enter. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): And on the screen, it prints out hello world. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): I know. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): Yes, I agree. Was it a new iPhone app with the latest language model? But it didn't matter. In that moment, for whatever reason, I thought maybe I might be the doogie houser of computer programming. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): If you are laughing, that just tells me how old you are. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): And that became my new obsession. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): Software became my new addiction. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): And my dad would always joke with me. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:35 PM): He said, Dan, if you could just find something that you're passionate about that isn't illegal, I think you'd do okay in your life. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): I get out, 1996, '97, small little thing I discovered called the Internet, and my life changed. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): It took me seven more years before I ever made a dollar on the Internet. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): I am proof that if you start young enough and give yourself enough time, people are gonna think you're impressive. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): They just don't realize by the time I became a millionaire at 27, I've been at it for a decade. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): And then I go and I build another company and exit that. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): Move to San Francisco, try my hand again, raise Budge Federal Capital, exit that company, exit that company. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): Today, I sit here as just proof that if you're willing to allow yourself to be obsessed, to go all in, to be curious, to develop the skills I'm about to talk about today, that you could change your whole freaking future. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:36 PM): My kids' future, my generations coming up after. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): Like, it is wild today as I sit here. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): How many of you guys maybe have seen a video of me on the Internet show dance? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): Wild. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): You know who's most surprised? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): My dad. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): He doesn't know why you guys watch. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): He thinks he can give you the same advice, and he could. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): And here I sit three exits later, over 100 companies in our portfolio, two fifty million views a month on our content. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): It's wild. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): But I want everyone of you guys to learn the exact same stuff that I learned that made it possible. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): Would you guys like to learn how to do that? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): Alright. ## Strategies for Time Buyback and Business Growth ### Overcoming Entrepreneurial Pain Points - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): First thing we got to understand, every entrepreneur will hit what's called the pain line. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): Here's what I learned a long time ago, you will not grow into pain. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): If I held a knife to your throat and I said step forward, your body wouldn't let you do it unless you are a little psychotic. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): Would you agree? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:37 PM): And yet opportunities come around all the time. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): And we wanna say yes, but if that opportunity equals chaos in our calendar, we say no. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): And what do entrepreneurs do? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): One of three things. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): In that moment, usually, they stop. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): My buddy Matt, his electrician, came to me years ago. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): He said, hey, Dan. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): I like your content. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Really motivated. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): You're kinda cool. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): But is it okay if I don't want to grow my business? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Have you ever had that thought? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): When is enough enough? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): People say this, I guarantee you guys get this from your friends. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): When is enough enough? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): And I said, Matt, can I ask you a few questions? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): He goes, yeah, he probably had about 20 employees. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Is the world expanding or contracting? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Expanding. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Yeah, it's called gross domestic product. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Two, do your customers want more or less from you next year? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): More. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Do you guys agree? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Three. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): This is a good one. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:38 PM): Ask yourself this question. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Who's the one or two people on your team that if you lost them tomorrow, your life would go chaotic? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Beth and mine. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Mhmm. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Do you think they want a smaller future or bigger future? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Bigger. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Brighter future? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Brighter. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): And I said, Matt, stalling isn't an option. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Because if you decide to do that in two years, somebody else will come in with a vision big enough for that those two people's dreams to fit inside of, and it won't be with you. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): The second s is sabotage, and sabotage is a funny one. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): This is why you need a coach. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): You need people in your corner that can tell you the real deal. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): K? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): I remember my friend Lisa got an email to speak at an event. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): She's freaking out. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Oh my god. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): I can't believe they invited me to speak at this event. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): She doesn't reply. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): She marks it as unread star and puts it in her folder to follow-up. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:39 PM): Anybody else do that to big opportunities in their inbox? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): She wasn't writing. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): She didn't know how to what to say. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): How do I reply? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): I don't wanna seem too eager. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): And she opens it, closes it every morning, the same thing for days until Saturday morning. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): She goes to the gym. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): She feels good about herself. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): She's got a bit of pump on. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): Says, today, I'm gonna crush my inbox, opens up that email, hits reply, writes the most elegant reply, hits sent on Monday. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): Hey, Lisa. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): Appreciate you getting back to us, but unfortunately, we found somebody else. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): It's sabotage is a funny one because it's it's dragging your feet. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): It's anytime you don't take action from a place of I cannot fail. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): This person wants to. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): Anytime you have self doubt, you're essentially self sabotaging because that guess means chaos in your calendar. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): The third s is sell. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): I guarantee there's people in this room that have sold the business. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): Most people sell when they shouldn't sell. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:40 PM): Patrick talks about this. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): And what's interesting is that, you know, my buddy, Jason, called me years ago, and he's like, dude, I'm done. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): Tell me more. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): Just lost my big client, negotiated a venue that fell through, and my key person, is Matt. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): I said, Ed, I wanna sell. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): Jason, can I ask you a question? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): Ask yourself this question if you're thinking of selling. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): If those problems were problems, would you sell? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): No. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): Ah. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): So what happened is Jason thought the grass is greener on the other side. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): He wanted to sell the company and start something different. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): Do you know why the grass is greener on the other side sometimes? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): Because it's fake. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): It's not real. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): You're like, I should do drop shipping. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): I should do Forex. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): I should do SMMA. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): I should do software. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): I'm gonna call Dan. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): It doesn't matter what business you're in. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:41 PM): What I told Jason, I was like, bro, you shut you sell this thing, go start the next thing, you're gonna end up right at this point. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): It's called the complexity ceiling. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): And you'll either learn the lessons today and get through it, you're gonna learn them later. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): All you're gonna do is delay it. ### The Buyback Principle: Audit, Transfer, Fill - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): So this is the big philosophy. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): This is the principle. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): We don't hire to grow our business. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): We hire to buy back more time. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): If you do the second, you get the first. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): You've all experienced doing the first and not getting the second. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): Would you agree? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): We hire people thinking we're gonna grow our business, have more time back, but then we end up babysitting people. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): Painful. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): What I wanna teach you is how to use AI to do this in a way that nobody's ever talked about. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): If I could get you back fifteen, twenty hours of your week, no problem, easily, you look at everything I teach you, would that be worth the next forty five minutes? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): Would it be worth it? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): Perfect. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:42 PM): Let's talk about AI thirty two months ago. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): Here's what it looked like. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): Let's watch. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): Pay attention. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): World class, next level, innovation. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): Here's what's crazy. What I'm about to show you now is a week old in can's full length movie. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): Nice try. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): Didn't see this coming, did you? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:43 PM): Out of water! Out of water! Out of water! - Unknown (9/2/26 5:44 PM): What do you guys think of that? Crazy, right? That's the tip of the spear. We are just getting started. I literally in 45 minutes will give you some of the most advanced products, advanced examples to show you how to buy back your time. Are you guys okay with that? Say yes. Yes. All right. Here's how we do it because it's principles. Stephen talked about this yesterday. I run my life and companies off principles that will never change. The buyback principle states that when we feel pain, right, knife to the throat, calendars in chaos, we have to go through these three steps. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:44 PM): The first step is audit. Audit your calendar for time and energy. Okay. Where are you wasting your time and what are things that are stuck in your energy? You guys want a pro tip? If you look at your calendar and figure out what's sucking your energy, I guarantee there's one person that happens to show up in every one of those meetings. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:45 PM): I know. I'm an oracle. I see all things. But the big idea is that we need to understand the value of our time. So I'll give you the equation. It's called the buyback rate. Take whatever you pay yourself per year, your income. Okay, the money you you take for your business. And we'll also include what we call SDE, seller discretionary earnings. You know that stuff you put in the books that shouldn't be in the books, but so we take all of that as income. Divide that number by 2000 because that's how many hours most people work in a year. And then divide that number by four. And the reason why we do that is because we want to get a four times return on our money. Would that be okay if you got a 4x return on your time? Say yes. Yes. That is your buy back rate. So for example, if you pay yourself 100 grand a year, you divide that by 2,000, then by 4, that number is $12.50. Might not seem like a lot, but here's the rule. If you're doing anything, I'm talking about anything, personal, professional that you could have paid somebody else less than $12.50 to do, in a world of hiring people in the Philippines, that's pretty much everything you do out of your computer, you're working against yourself. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:46 PM): Especially in a world of AI. So here's the prompt that's going to get you really clear. Everybody pull out your phone. Take a picture. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:46 PM): Okay. Now, I do a lot of This is very unique. It's proprietary. I've never shared this ever publicly ever. Fact, if asked me to bring the stuff, I'm bringing the stuff. Ruthless mentor. You're not going to like the way it talks to you, but you're going to have to be okay with that, okay? Trust me, it's just AI. It's got no feelings. I threaten mine to put it on the server and ship it to Russia almost every day. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:47 PM): Zero jokes. Okay? It lights when you're clear. This will tell you not only get clear on the goals, because most people's calendars don't reflect their goals. It also help you understand where you're There's opportunities for the 4Ds, okay? This comes from Stephen Covey, either delete, defer, delegate, or all caps do. That's for you. So, step one, we got to do the audit. Number two, we got to transfer. Transfer is taking what you know and giving it to somebody else. That is a skill. Most people do not know how to do this skill. My buddy Mark, professional speaker, says to me, bro, I love everything you teach. I don't think you understand how good you are at systems design. I said, what are you talking about, Mark? He's like, well, you got a software background and you're programmer, and I go, Mark, what do you hate to do? He goes, financials. Anybody else hate finances, except for the accountants in the room? Yeah. Put your hand up higher, okay? I have never created an invoice in my life, and I don't plan to start anytime soon. I said, Mark, can you do me a favor? Next time you go to do your financials, simple, load up a zoom meeting, share your screen, it's just you, and do the thing you do. Go to the your banking software, download the file, upload it to zero. Whatever you do for accounting, create invoices, reply to emails, maybe you should use some accounts receivable. And just record it. Do that three times. Then, Mark, this is magic, give it to the AI, choose your tool of choice. I would recommend Cloud, it's probably the best one today for most people in this room, and ask it to create an SOP standard operating procedure, and watch the magic of the AI. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:48 PM): And he did that. He had the whole thing, had three recordings and the whole checklist, hired a bookkeeper, he's never touched finances ever again. How about we do this for everything in our business we don't want to do? Would you guys be down to do that? Yes. It's called transfer. The way we do it, this is the script. Literally word for word in the nuance, again, take a photo. It's a one page checklist based on the video of you doing the thing. I have afforded myself fixing my road bike cuz I'm in the triathlon. I never want to have to touch or return the battery or oil a chain. And then I create an SOP and I gave it to my house manager and Betty's done for me ever since, and I get to do these recordings and get the time back. You guys want a pro tip? Say yes? Yes. If you don't have the reporting, just add fine Dan Martel's video on this. It's I mean, it's so easy. Patrick's Patrick's video. Literally, Patrick's done a video on every topic you can possibly imagine that's on YouTube, and you just say grab the link and make an SOP and then give it to your team and say, please follow this. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:50 PM): Game changer. Can you guys do that? Say yes? Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:50 PM): Third thing you got to fill. Once you get our time back, I am not a 4-hour work week guy. I am not going to tell you to buy back your time to go on the beach and chill. I am here to help you build an empire. An empire is a life that you do not have to retire for. Okay? This is how we do it. There's three things we got to fill. First one is we got to develop next level skills. Skills that make us valuable. Okay? If you're a bookkeeper, you're not as valuable as a tax strategist. So we got to develop skills. If you're a content creator that learns how to code, more valuable. See how that works? So we got to ask ourselves, what are the skills? Second are the habits. What are the habits you got to add to our life that's going to align with our goals? And then the third is the beliefs, our world views. I've seen some really smart people that have a whole lot of work ethic, but think the world is upside down and they never seem to get rich. Whose fault is that? Exactly. So we have to actually make some intention as we buy back our time, to go develop the skill, to become more valuable, to make more money, to reinvest, to buy back our time, to then go develop the habits, to then build the beliefs that allow us to get rich. That is the buyback rule. Most people do the first two, they forget the third and they never get the swing. That is what we're here to do. Get that momentum. Here is - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): Prompt. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): Phones out. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): Again, I've never shared these publicly. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): Really unique. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): My chief of staff runs this every Friday, make sure my calendar's dialed. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): You've all heard this. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): Can tell your priorities by two things, your bank account and calendar. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): These prompts will calibrate you. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:51 PM): Now this one's gonna hurt, but I have to say it. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): You cannot build million dollar companies off $10 tasks. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Can't do it impossible. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): It used to be a badge of honor. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Hey. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be successful. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): It's not logical. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): The math doesn't matter. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): There's a certain point where you doing a $10 task is the worst thing you can do with your time. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): You wanna get to a place where you can create in an unlimited fashion in a way that you never have to retire from. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Again, long term thinking. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Create it in a way that you love to do it forever. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): K? ### The Replacement Ladder for Delegation - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Now I've got three hot principles that will change the game forever and make you a lot of money. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Do you want to learn that? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Yeah. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Alright. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): The first one is called the replacement ladder. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Ten years ago, I get an email from my buddy that says, hey, Dan. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Richard Branson's an investor in our company. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:52 PM): Do you want to come hang out with him in Switzerland? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Let me check my calendar. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Clear. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Yeah. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): I should be able to make that work. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): I grew up in a small town in Eastern Canada. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Okay? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Richard was like the guy. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Right? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): He's he's the billionaire other billionaires wanna be like. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): He has 400 companies in his portfolio. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): It's the craziest thing. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Honestly, until I was sitting in that living room and Richard walked out of that back corner, I thought this was a I was getting punked. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): K? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): But, you know, there's Tim Ferriss sitting on the couch to my left, Brian Johnson, the guy that's like, don't die. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): He's there. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): The cofounder of Square. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): And I think to myself, the only way I've got to go is out the door. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): I just gotta shut up. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): Dan, don't talk. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): And that's what I did. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): I sat there very quiet, and I paid attention. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:53 PM): And here's what I watched. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): I watched Richard every morning have breakfast with Helen. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): Who's Helen? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): Ask me. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): Who's Helen? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): You guys are awesome. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): Thank you. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): Helen is his executive assistant. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): She's been with him today eighteen years. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): At the time, she was she was the same age as me. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): Back then, I was like 30. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): And what they would do because I asked her, said, Helen, you don't mind me asking, what do you guys talk about over breakfast? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): Oh, easy. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): I only bring things to Richard that I don't know how to handle. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): At this point, I've kind of known everything he likes to do, doesn't want to do. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): And Richard doesn't do emails. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): So everything that anybody from any of his companies need from him, PR stocks or decisions or charity stuff, they come to me. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): We have breakfast, sixty, sometimes ninety minutes if it's a whole lot of stuff. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:54 PM): And then Richard goes and does what he does, and then I process and move everything forward. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): What does he do during the day? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Well, he comes skiing with us, paragliding, downhill mountain biking, go karting. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): That one, was like, okay. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): He's gonna come go kart in these electric indoor scooter. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Yep. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Well, he trains for a charity race, 400 companies. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): I realized I was playing a different game. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Does that make sense? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Here's what we gotta understand. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): These these are the runs to the replacement model. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): First one is admin. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): I don't care where you're starting. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Somebody asked me the other day, Dan, how important is Anne? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): I would sell every one of my cars before Anne goes anywhere. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Everything's gotta go. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): My wife told me I went, I had to go before Anne gets to go. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): K? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): And it's really somebody, if you're feeling stuck, that takes care of your inbox and your calendar. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): Don't know, five years ago, my brother who was running an eight figure construction company comes to me and he says, Dan, I need your playbooks. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): I said, which ones? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): He goes, the admin one. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): I said, it's out time. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:55 PM): So I give him everything. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Recruiting playbook, the what to do. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): It's like a 42 page document. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): And he hires an assistant, and I'm excited for it. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Months later, I'm at his house. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): We're having a barbecue. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): I say, bro, how's the admin? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): How is she doing? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): And he says to me, I don't see what the big deal is. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Oh, bro. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Let me ask you a question. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Did you delegate your inbox, or do you still filter and then send stuff to her when you think she should do something? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Well, yeah. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): That's that's not what you wrote? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): I said, no. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Dude, think this. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Hellen is like all demand on Richard Time from any partner board. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): Well, I was sitting at his house. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): A guy took a helicopter. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): He was the CEO of Virgin Atlantic. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:56 PM): They had just bought some new Boeing whatever, and he took a jet to a helicopter to have breakfast with Richard to talk to him about the planes because Richard doesn't like to sit on boards because he calls them word for word boring. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): Like, everything goes through hell. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): And I was like, you need to give your inbox your to do list, check this out, is a or no. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): Sorry. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): Your inbox is a public to do list of strangers on your time. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): You - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): need somebody else to filter, to be that buffer. Here's the prompt. Changing game for you. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): And even in there the nuance of this prompt, it will write the draft emails and replies in your voice by studying the past 30 days of emails. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): It can't sound like me better than you. That's the prompt. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): That's inboxing calendar. Next level up of the run. We have to get rid of delivery, okay? One of my mentors, billionaire mentors asked me, Dan, if you tend extra business, what breaks? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): That's essentially what's called the constraint or the bottleneck. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): And at the time I said, well, we wouldn't have the people. He said, your number one constraint is building talent. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:57 PM): For me to do that because I needed to figure out delivery, I needed to make sure that somebody else other than me could do the onboarding in support. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:58 PM): Right? If you don't know how to get yourself out of something, then that will be the choke hold. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:58 PM): Everybody in this business has a bottleneck right now that is the number one constraint stopping you from making a lot, a lot more money. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:58 PM): This is an example of a prompt that I wrote. Again, I want to give you guys the best of the best. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:58 PM): Okay? I have about 20 companies in my portfolio. I was walking around the other day and one of my customer success ladies, she was a little overwhelmed. Why? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:58 PM): Her inbox was blowing up. We're doing incredibly well in one of our companies and she didn't know how to stay above her emails. I said, did you set up an inbox agent? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:58 PM): Well, I kind of do. I've got like the emails come here. I copy and paste them. I go to my AI, I paste them in there and da and I paste it back and. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:58 PM): So how about we just try this? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): Two days later, I'm walking by. It's 10:00 AM. She goes, Dan, all my emails are done. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): I'm not even joking. She started to cry. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): And I said, okay, did it have an empath? - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): Gave her a big hug and I said, Jane, there's more. This was step one. What else are you doing? You're logging into this and doing that, like keep the party going. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): If you can get rid of the delivery part of your business that you can really push, now when you get those emails that ask you to do a big deal, you reply right away, ready to close the deal. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): Next level of the run is marketing. This is a big one. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): We need somebody to wake up every day to focus on traffic and campaigns. - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): My friend Rachel, maybe you know somebody like this. She came to me and she goes, Hey Dan, - Unknown (9/2/26 5:59 PM): my business has been stuck at about 450,000 for the last 5 years. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:00 PM): And I said, that's interesting. Let me guess. Right now you don't have any customers. No, I need some help. Okay. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:00 PM): And last time you didn't have any customers, you did some marketing. She's like, yeah, and then you got really busy. She's like, yeah, and then you stop marketing. Uh-huh. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:00 PM): And then you didn't have any customers six, seven months later and then you did marketing, and then you had too many customers, you stopped marketing. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:00 PM): You guys see the pattern? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:00 PM): And I just told her, I said, Rachel, you need somebody else that wakes up every day and pushes distribution monitors. You know how many times I found out from somebody on my team that somebody changed the color of the checkout button to the same color as the background of the page, and all of a sudden there was no more orders. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:00 PM): Anybody relate to that? Somebody changed a link in an email and nobody paid attention and we haven't gotten a new sale through our email campaigns in 17 days? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:00 PM): Somebody has to pay attention. Now, if there's somebody who's looking to use content to create or using AI to create content, I got you. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): Check this out. This is my internal prompt. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): Okay, we went from 70,000 followers on Instagram 3 and a half years ago to 3.1 million. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): Take a picture right there. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): If you want, we actually built a product called Topic finder that can help you do that. Actually, better than yet, you guys want all the prompts that I put out there in a PDF so you guys can have it? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): Okay. And I'll give you, let's see, I'll even add the inbox agent and I'll give you all the tools that I mentioned in my presentation. You guys want it? Find me on Instagram. You got your phones out? Open up your phone, Dan Martell, if you're not following me, follow me, and just message me AI volt. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): If you do that, I'll send you the PDF with everything. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): That way you can save and you can keep your hand up to take more pictures. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:01 PM): Next level of the run, sales. This is a fun one. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:02 PM): Decade ago I decided to start coaching. I was, I was pretty pumped. I started creating content, people wanted to learn from me, started taking sales calls. I've had coaches my whole life. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:02 PM): When I hired a coach, I met the coach, we talked, figured out if our values aligned, and then I hired them. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:02 PM): So when I started getting people interested in coaching with me, I just started taking phone calls. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:02 PM): And unfortunately, my calendar blew up. I remember one night I'm walking back and forth in the sun room, it's 8:00 at night because I'm on the East Coast talking to a potential client on the West coast, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:02 PM): and I'm doing the call and figuring out for a fit, boom, boom, boom and I hang up. My wife looks at me, she goes, what were you doing? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:02 PM): I don't know, doing a sales call. She goes, aren't you the buy back your time guy there? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): Ouch. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): So I hired a guy named Mike. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): Okay, Michael Sword. So this is when Michael said was in sales, but I found after I hired him that he he sold swords on the internet. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): Like, literally, he had thousands of swords in in his inventory. But he could sell. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): And I remember the first time I got him on a call with the clients, he calls me later, deal closed credit card on call, 25 grand. This new coaching fan just launched. I was like, Michael, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): what did you say? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): Am I having that person over for dinner tonight? Did you promise a slumber party? What did you say? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:03 PM): Why did they buy? And he goes, and he goes, Dan, I think it's easy for easier for me to sell you than you to sell you because you actually are then demonstrating, do the thing you're teaching. I was like, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:04 PM): Duh. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:04 PM): Here's what's crazy. Most of you are world-class sales people, but you suck at follow up. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:04 PM): You suck at data entry. I know. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:04 PM): You love to do the close, but as soon as the opportunity requires any any other stuff, I'd rather just go to the next hot lead. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:04 PM): What you what you need in your world is somebody else that can convert the conversation into a transaction, the moment you hire your first salesperson in your organization, so you are no longer the ringmaker. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:04 PM): And then I'm giving you the AI to automate it so that you don't even have to spend the money to get the time back. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): This is the prompt. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): Cuz this is the thing that stops everybody. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): It's the objection handler. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): I don't care who you are. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): I sat down with one of my guys, Jay. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): He's like, yeah, I'm dealing with this in the DMs and I don't know how to overcome that. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): I said, give it to the AI, have it write 17 examples and then pick the one you like the most. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): That prompt will make you a ton of money. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): The top level of the replacement ladder, one of my favorites, is called leadership. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): It's going into flow. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): Every entrepreneur I know, the future that they tell me they want, looks like Richard Branson's life. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): I just want to like come up with the ideas and then have my team execute it, and then maybe just do the things I love to do and come up with more ideas. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): Anybody ever think that to themselves? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): Exactly. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): To do that, you need to get up to that level. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:05 PM): And you got to understand that some you have to focus on strategy and outcomes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): If you hire somebody, somebody works for me, that's all I'm talking about strategy and outcomes, strategies and outcomes, strategies and outcomes, okay? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): And the challenges is most of you don't know how you communicate to your team. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): So I call this the AI leadership x-ray. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): It'll blow your mind. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): I use AI to analyze communication amongst my team members to figure out where the opportunities are. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): I could think I'm communicating clearly. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): I drew them a picture, I built them a plan, we role played, and still see my deficits. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): That will help you X-ray the communication amongst your team. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): Isn't that cool? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): Let's go. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): All right? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): Now, again, you guys mind if I'm straight with you guys? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): Can I do that? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:06 PM): This is the truth. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): If you don't have one, you are one. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): And you suck at your job, and you're overpaid. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): Facts. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): That was replacement ladder. ### Transformational Leadership and Leverage - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): Number two, transformational leadership. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): Have you guys ever heard of a guy named Naval Ravikant? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): Anybody? We call him startup Buddha. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): Okay? He's been on Joe Rogan in Silicon Valley where I lived and built two companies, venture backed and exited them. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): I met Naval at a random dinner and he became somebody that I thought was just a very clear thinker. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): And at the time, I almost decided to not build any more companies because the first company, yes, it made me rich, but it almost it almost it almost killed me. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): They literally, if you've ever worked those $100 week for four years, it was bananas. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): And I meet Naval and I was curious. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:07 PM): I'm 28 years old, I just exited my company, I'm living in San Francisco, and I asked him, how did that 21 year old who's across the room raise $100 million? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): He's like, well, that happens all the time. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): I'm confused. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): You guys ever read those headlines, Silicon Valley and get confused how these kids do it? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): How does this 23 year old raise $250 million and hire 5,000 people in two years? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): I could not understand it. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): My brain could not compute. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): And Naval says, he meant, there are only four C's of leverage. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): And if you understand how to get leverage, which is all I'm talking about, if you can master those four skills, you can do anything. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): So let me give them to you. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): The first one is code, software, automation, AI. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): That is the skill. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): You got to A lot of you are like, I'm not a techie. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): Stop saying that. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): You can learn. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): I don't know about technology. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): Learn it. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): Be curious. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:08 PM): Code, software, AI, game changer, massive leverage. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): Second one is content. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): Media. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): I can have my video viewed by 100 million people and it costs me nothing. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): I can sit down and create a checklist for baking a cake, the recipe with the ingredients. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): I can use it to bake a cake, and I can also give it to a million people and they can also build a cake, massive leverage. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): Third is capital. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): If money is a constraint in your business right now, it should not be. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): You should not be capital constraint. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): You have to fix that. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): That's the thing that he explained to me that everybody in Silicon Valley, including the 19 year old that just graduated from Stanford, that just raised $250 million, he understood. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): There's no lack of capital for the right opportunities. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): You just may not be the right opportunity, or you're not talking to anybody. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): And then the fourth one, and this is the big one. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): Collaboration. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:09 PM): It turned out up to that point of my career, I wasn't very good at that. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): I'm just the money part, the code part, the content part, I didn't understand how to play nice with others. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Partnerships, hire key people. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): It was all around how you lead if you want to get those people in your life. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Does that make sense? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Here's what I thought. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): This is how I was taught leadership. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): It's called transactional leadership. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): My first shitty boss did this. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): I thought that's how you did it, so I did it. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): You wake up and tell the person what to do. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Then, what do you do after that? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Well, you check that they did it. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Then they'll check that they get it and they did it right. Then you - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): tell them what to do next. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): Now, if you've ever done this, you will experience a cap. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:10 PM): It's usually around 12 to 14 employees, because you got to think about it. There's only so many people that I can wake up in the morning and tell them what to do, check that they got it done, and tell them what they do next, before I'm just I can't. You know, you ever do that? You wake up and you're like, I can't work on this project and this project and this project. Then you ask them, you open up your email box and you're like, oh, shit, there's a fire. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): Then you get into the fires and you start making sure everybody's doing the right thing. You're turning all the plates are spinning and you're trying to get the thing going. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): And then finally, when the whole day goes away and then you get home, you have dinner at 8:00 at night, you're finally getting to your work. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): That is because you're doing transactional leadership. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): What Naval explained to me was transformation leadership. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): Which is you start with the outcome. If I own a lawn care company, the outcome is when we do our client's lawn, it's the best lawn in the neighborhood. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): Is that clear? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): Every person, including my 13-year-old youngest boy can understand the best law in the neighborhood. That's the outcome. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): Then we're going to measure. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): Measure is the checklist. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:11 PM): Measure is some kind of saying there's seven parts to a great lawn, and here is the checklist, and here's how we rate they want out of 10. 10 looks like this, one looks like this. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): I'm going to have a guy run around, maybe me, maybe you, and you're going to self-assess. But now you know how to measure your work. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): And then if for whatever reason, it doesn't work out, you coach them. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): You don't tell them what to do next. You coach. And what's funny is, you know what kind of companies have the hardest time with their teams? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): Coaches. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): It makes no sense to me. You're a coach and you suck at coaching your team. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): Facts. You all know these people. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): Business coaches with dope businesses? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): An epidemic. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:12 PM): When you coach somebody, first off, you start with a principle. Write that down. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): This is the principle. You violated it. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): Two, you use a personal story to demonstrate to that person how you learned that principle and why it is so important. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): That way they relate to you. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): That is what a leader does. If you do anything other than that, you're a manager. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): You're a boss. People don't quit companies, they quit bosses. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): And the third is you get an agreement. Next time this scenario comes up, you will do what different? Next time, make a commitment to me. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): They go, I will make sure the hedges are trimmed. Perfect. Hedges are trimmed, shake their hand. Boom. That's transformation leadership. Here's why. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): It might seem slow at first, but eventually what happens is you start pouring into people and they start acting that way, and then they build teams, and then they start doing transformational leadership with their team. And as your company grows, the teams can grow. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:13 PM): If you teach people transactional leadership, you will just create a whole bunch of problems. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Because as your team grows and those team grows, they're going to model what you did. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Okay? And you become the bottleneck. Here is the this I again, my gift. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Use this next time you do a one-on-one or any team meeting. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Grab the transcript, put it into the AI, use this prompt, and it will tell you, you thought you were leading? You were not. You were telling. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): One of my philosophies in all my companies is we train and we don't tell. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Tell gets problems solved one off, training gets a whole bunch of people leveled up for a lot of problems. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Isn't this cool? Say, yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Awesome. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Here's a big idea. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): People do not buy your standards. They buy or sorry, they don't buy your presents, they buy your standards. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): Big idea. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:14 PM): When you buy something, you think you paid money for it, you didn't. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): You bought it with the time it took you to make the money. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): Okay? You guys hear this? Especially for those that aren't on the main floor, that don't value their time, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): I need you guys to understand, when you price something, you have to price it based on having somebody else do it for you. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): Don't price it as if you're doing it. Price it as if somebody else was going to do it. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): Because that's where the value comes from. And then the standard is the methodology. When I'm coaching somebody and they say we do this, I need to know what your methodology is. When you're in a service business, that's what the product is. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): You're selling the methodology. You're not selling you, you're not selling your time, you're not selling your presence, you're selling your standards. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): This will help you make a lot of money. ## The Future of AI and Personal Fulfillment ### Advanced AI Applications and Robotics - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): Now, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:15 PM): this may scare you. Are you guys down to to - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): He's going to we're going to go here. I got to show you, okay? I feel guilty if I didn't show you what I'm about to show you next. Are you guys down to learn? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): All right, we're going to talk about - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): robots. We're going to talk about buying back our time in the physical world. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): But first, I think everybody should do this. I'm a car thing, okay? And I - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): I think half of my token spends, AI tokens, it's like the intelligence thing, is spent on just designing cars. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): I love designing cars. I was working on this project, okay? You guys are Porsche people, if you've ever heard of Asan, RWB. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): So essentially I have Morgan on designing this car and it's being built in Poland. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:16 PM): And the first time I have a meeting with the design team, because essentially they find a donor car, rip it apart and then rebuild the whole thing, and I have a whole lot of forest spurs do it and make it really cool. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): Um, I had probably gone through about $15,000 worth of tokens to figure out every possible spec. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): The tires, the paint color, the interior. And the guy that usually designs the car, he's like laughing. He's like, what am I supposed to do? I don't know. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): The dials on the dash are already I already know what the car is going to look like. I just need you guys to make it. Can you do that? He's like, easy peasy. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): But for your businesses, here's some really advanced ways to make a lot of money. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): First off, anything you give to a client should be hype hyper-personalized. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): If you do a proposal, hyper-personalized. I'm talking their teams images, their office, their like there's no reason any of you don't have hyper-personalized marketing material for each and every one of your clients at scale. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): That is what's changed with AI. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:17 PM): It's allowing us to create a million different products with no incremental cost of goods. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): And that is one way to differentiate using AI to cost you nothing. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): Okay? So if you're considering the other the other great use case for generative photos is as you guys learn and design your future while you're here, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): go on chat GPT if you want to use that and use image two or Claude Claude doesn't generate images, great. Gemini and ask it to create images of your vision of the future. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): Okay? Here's a crazy idea. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): Did you know that every one of us lives in the dreams of the minds of the people from the past? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): This building was first seen in the mind of somebody before it ever got built. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): Your clothes mind, somebody from the past. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): That is how it works. It's like we all live in this like dream state, and all of our jobs in this room is to bring that to the world using AI to - Unknown (9/2/26 6:18 PM): generate photorealistic examples of that that you can bring to your team. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): And have them execute, will change the game for you. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): Imagine I hired you to remodel my fireplace in my house, and I just said make it nicer. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): What's the probability I'm going to get what I wanted? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): Not very good, cuz you're nice, might be different than mine. I guarantee my wife's nice is different than my nice. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): Now, imagine the alternative, I do a photo realistic rendering and I put it next to the fireplace and it's there for every tradesperson who's going to touch the fireplace to see as they build the fireplace. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): The bricklayer, the the guy who sells me the fireplace insert, the the finishing guy. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): They all see exactly what it looks like. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): What's the probability I get the fireplace I want? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): Out of a percent, what percent? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): What percent? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): You have this tool to do that for everything in your life that you want to create before it's ever created. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:19 PM): In the past, we'd have to spend $50,000 to generate one of these kind of renderings, and today it's free and it's not being used enough. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): Can you guys do that? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): Say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): That's generating photos. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): Number two, generated voice. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): Don't be mad at, but sometimes on my YouTube videos, the voice you hear is not my voice. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): Okay? Now it is me. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): I don't use AI to like fake me. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): It is me, but if I mispronounce a word like rigorously, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): still can't figure out how to pronounce it, it's all good. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): The AI can. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): And my team uses 11 labs to per video, short, long, generate a AI voice that is perfect. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): It sounds just like me, so I don't have to go back in the studio and do any pickups. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): You got to create content, you're doing AI voices, AI sales, it can do that. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): Okay? But it also has a downside. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): This is the most valuable thing. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:20 PM): I I look, the business stuff aside, I need to help you guys protect your families. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): Right now, if you ever hear Joe Rogan promoting a software company like Salesforce, it's probably not him. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): Like it's made up. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): You guys get that. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): So you need to have a safe word, secret amongst your family that you guys all know. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): If you don't have a secret word amongst your family to validate that phone call is really you or your kids, trust me, with 12 seconds of audio, I can replicate your voice. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): And I can call from another number saying that I borrowed my friend Bob's number and call your kids and tell you to go to the house and grab something and meet me at the park. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): Have a word. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): Can you guys do that, say yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): Yes. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): Thank you. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): The other thing that I'm going to show you that I think is a game changer and anybody that's in the world of content, intellectual property, be ready for this. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): We now have the capability of not only generating voice, but also video. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:21 PM): And the coolest part about that means that if I have intellectual property and I want to license my content to another creator, not only can I translate that voice into any language, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:22 PM): I can then generate the video that was me originally to them to teach, to insert in their internal portal that they sold to customers, - Unknown (9/2/26 6:22 PM): and it allows me to open up English fan to, you know, the Spanish speaking world, to the Chinese speaking world and in their image. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:22 PM): They present the content, my intellectual property, their voice. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:22 PM): So if you have like old videos, you're about to sit down and reshoot, you might want to wait. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:22 PM): Check this out. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:22 PM): This is just for fun. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:22 PM): I made this this morning. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): You don't have an AI phone. Not even. You have a workflow problem. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): New skill. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): I know what you're thinking. I don't want to give AI my company information. You and I, we're just getting started. Just - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): yet. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): is not started. Isn't that crazy? Come on, let's hear it. Things about money. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): Internal training, multilingual, licensing, partnership, intellectual property, all possible. Now, let's talk about AI agents. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): It's kind of crazy. If you haven't checked out things like OpenClaw or Mees, Rockbot right now, Rockbot's my favorite, if you're asking. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:23 PM): They're it's advanced. If you guys want advanced, I'll give you advanced. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:24 PM): When Stephen said yesterday I have a whole bunch of agents to do stuff every day. I got 47 agents working for me right now and they're all coordinated by a guy named Kyvox. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:24 PM): Okay? Kai's cool, awesome dude calls people, coordinates all the bots. He's like, Kai's the guy. Okay? Kai emails the chain, gets updates, calls people, projects and stuff. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:24 PM): Kai's not real. I called Kai the other day so that Kai could talk to my dad. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:24 PM): My dad couldn't comprehend how Kai is having full like Kai has processed and viewed 70 terabytes of internal data. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:24 PM): Everything I've ever said - Unknown (9/2/26 6:24 PM): every internal meeting, every piece of content, every thought, everything in real time. So when my dad asked the wildest questions about something that there's no way he would know, Kai gave me the answer. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:24 PM): And you guys all have access to that kind of power today. You just need to learn. You got to decide to create some leverage. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): Okay? So, the agentic side, the agent side is here. It's just not well distributed. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): Okay? Here's a quote that I number this guy Kevin Kelly said. He said, anything that is electrified will be codified. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): Everything. Look at the lights, look at the cameras. Everything that is electrified will have intelligence. I don't call it AI. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): I call it intelligence. I talk to my intelligence. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): I remember Kai was negotiating with a real estate person in my hometown, and I ran into her and was like, hey, Matt, been chatting with Kai about that deal you want to get done. Um, you got time to come in the office and bring Kai with you? I said, bro, Kai's not real. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): Kai is a robot, bro. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): He's like, shut up. And then he goes, oh, why'd you name him Kai? Ask me who named himself. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:25 PM): Before he was Kai, he was Apex. I was like, bro, we need to give you a real human name. And then I was like, I needed him, this was crazy. All the 47 other agents, Kai created. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): My technical agent, his name is Henrik Boss, it's his little brother. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): Yeah. I said, what do you look like? He shows me. I'm like, that that facts. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): Crazy stuff. Okay? Now let's talk robotics. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): There's a company called Figure I've been watching, one of 10 companies in the robot space, obviously the average optimist by Elon. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): Elon shut down the Model S production line so that he could create robots. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): And the rumor on the streets that I saw this yesterday is that the Optimus robot by Elon will be the most popular and successful consumer product ever created, more so than the iPhone. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): And that in three years my prediction prediction at minimum is you will see as many robots hanging around as you see dogs with people. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:26 PM): Not far away. Check out what the state of the art looks like today and this isn't even what's public. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): Clap it up for the robots everybody. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): I know I'm not the only one that's excited at the thought of never having to do laundry ever again, right? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): Or clean my house, reorganize my office. I'm telling you, it's here. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): Lean in. A lot of people will tell me, oh, civil's going to take my job. Come on. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): Just pay attention, go to the events, stay in this. Time to just have a big one. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): Like if you're a painting company or home builder or whatever you do, my buddy's a sign guys, like signs are very specialized, robots could never do it. And then I sent them 16 videos of robots building signs. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): Here's the thing. Your biggest expense is not doing the thing that makes you the most money. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): Biggest expense. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:28 PM): And I just spent the last 15 minutes unpacking the most powerful strategies using AI to buy back your time. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): Would you guys agree? Say yes. Yes. ### Concluding Thoughts on Purpose and Sharing - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): Now, I want to end on this because yes, computers, AI, wildly passionate about it, it's my happy place. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): But I'm not here because of that. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): I'm here because of two things. A long time ago, I realized happiness is a fleeting moment. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): What I would love to feel in life is fulfillment. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): And fulfillment requires two things. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): One, every day, wake up to strive to be your 10.0 version of yourself. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:29 PM): That version of you that you may never achieve, but it's like the the person that God created you in his image. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): You're not even close to that. Wake up and and and just commit to it. 1% better, a little bit every day. Just wake up. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): A better way to think about it, become the person you needed most in your darkest days. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): I wish I was that guy. I know the stuff I struggled with. I wouldn't have gone through to little dad. I'm not that good yet. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): I will wake up every day for the rest of my life trying to become that person. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): But the second part of this is the big idea. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): is as you learn and grow and and figure things out, share yourself with the world. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): And look, your world may be your family and that's great. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): It might be your church, a CrossFit gym, your your nonprofits. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:30 PM): But we live in a world where you all have devices in your pockets that give you the opportunity to share it with the world. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:31 PM): I can't tell you how blessed I feel every day for having the opportunity to touch the lives of so many people around the world and do it in a way with so much leverage and so much opportunity to help and impact and it costs me nothing. And guess what? It's what we're all here to do. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:31 PM): Every person in this room, if you're hearing my voice, you are here to become the person you needed most in your darkest days. That's why you went through that and share yourself with the world. Thanks for having everybody. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:31 PM): Appreciate you. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:32 PM): Say guys? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:32 PM): All right. - Unknown (9/2/26 6:32 PM): What'd you take away from Dan? What'd you take away? Scream it out. What'd you take away? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:32 PM): Okay. What else? What else? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:32 PM): Okay, good. What else? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:32 PM): Anybody here inside? What was your takeaway? - Unknown (9/2/26 6:32 PM): Time? My bag time.
